Are you going on a train journey? Our Train Journey Activity Pack is the perfect companion for your adventure! The pack is made up of themed activities, games and prompts that will help children connect with their surroundings, appreciate their experiences and make sure they have plenty to keep them occupied on the train. It also includes planning pages, journal pages, space to record memories and things they have learnt as well as reflection pages. We think these features are great for all children, but they were specifically designed to be particularly useful for children who find transitions/changes difficult and benefit from support managing their emotions. What age is the Train Journey Activity Pack suitable for?

Our age recommendation for this pack is approximately 6-14 years. However, we always say that ability is very subjective; what will be right for one child won’t necessarily be right for another of the same age. It may well be suitable for younger or older children depending on how enthusiastic they are about this style of activities.

The tasks can be completed to your child’s own level. We would expect older/more able children to use the pack mostly independently, in more depth and with the option of extending activities with follow-on tasks and research. Younger children may record responses as pictures rather than words. They may respond verbally and have answers scribed for them or work as part of a team with an adult. Our packs are designed to be accessible to a large age range.

Is the Train Journey Activity Pack a book or pdf file?

This product is available as an A5 hard copy. The print quality of the hard copies is far superior to a home printer and they are professionally bound with thick, wipe-clean covers. You can pick your own postage to suit your individual needs at checkout. We aim to dispatch orders within two working days.
